Accountability FBI, Inc.
Accountability FBI, Inc., a nonprofit entity not associated with the U.S. government, originated from an investigation into a sexual predator district attorney in Saint Charles Parish, Louisiana named Harry Morel whom U.S. Department of Justice attorneys abused their power to protect. Accountability FBI’s founder, Mike Zummer, was the agent on the case. When he reported the prosecutorial misconduct to a federal judge, FBI officials violated his constitutional rights so they could intimidate other employees into silence and conceal government wrongdoing from the public. During his legal fight, Mike founded Accountability FBI. For more information see ‘She Just Said She Wanted To Be Believed’ – The Appeal

About the Founder
After graduating from Duke University in 1993, Mike Zummer served for four years as a Marine Corps infantry officer, then investigated white collar crime as an FBI Special Agent. He served in Iraq with the Marines in 2004-2005 and graduated from Stanford Law School in 2007. Mike clerked for a U.S. Court of Appeals judge before returning to the FBI to investigate corruption for eight years. Mike was forced out of the FBI in 2016 for reporting prosecutorial misconduct. He is currently fighting for his and other federal employees’ constitutional rights to report government wrongdoing.
